Long before doorbells, folks across Europe and Appalachia hung little bells by their doors, said to ring out and scare off any mischief or bad energy trying to slip inside. Some called them Witch Bells. Others, Spirit Bells. Either way, the tradition is the same: a small bell or bells, a little noise, and a whole lot of charm.
Join us for an evening of making your own. I'll have everything laid out: mini wreaths, string and ribbon, bells and bobbles, tiny charms, potion bottles, glitter, and a little tea and snacks to keep you company while you work. All you need to bring is an open mind and some creativity (and if you're running low on the creativity part, I've got extra to sprinkle on you at the door).
By the end of the night, you'll walk out with your own Witch Bells to hang wherever you like, best kept indoors so they last. A little charm with old roots, made by your own hands.

Michelle Spalding is a clinical herbalist and holistic health coach with over 1,800 hours of formal training in Western herbalism, vitalist philosophy, and holistic coaching. She is a lifelong plant lover and the founder of Wild Thistle Herbs and Alchemy in Waco, Texas.
