What Online Holistic Coaching Actually Looks Like, Session by Session

You've done the work. You've read books, done the journaling, and attended a retreat that cracked a little something open in you. You're not new to this. There is nothing wrong with you. You're just... not quite where you thought all that work would land you by now, and you want to change that.

I hear this so often it's almost become its own kind of hello.

If that's where you are, I want to tell you something: you don't need more information. You might just need someone to sit down with you, ask the right questions, and stay in it with you long enough for things to actually move.

That's what coaching with me looks like. Mostly. Let me tell you more.

So what actually happens in a session?

Each session is 60-90 minutes, and we start with what you bring. Sometimes that's a very specific thing, a business decision, a health goal that keeps getting bumped to next month, a relationship pattern you're so tired of struggling with. Sometimes it's more of a feeling, a low hum of something you can't quite name yet.

Either way, we follow it. If you want to come in with an agenda, we absolutely work with that. And if you need the first few minutes just to figure out what's actually on your mind, that's fine too. There is no wrong way to show up.

What I'm doing on my end is listening in a particular way and not waiting for my turn to talk. Actually listening. Asking questions that maybe nobody has asked you before. Helping you hear yourself a little more clearly than you can when you're alone with your own thoughts, which, let's be honest, can get loud in there. And, occasionally, reminding you of something you said in a previous session that relates at the moment.

About that accountability thing

Nearly all of us need it. That's not a personal failing; that's just being human. Knowing what you want to do and actually doing it are two wildly different experiences, and having someone who knows your goals, remembers what you said three weeks ago, and is genuinely rooting for you changes the texture of the whole thing. My version of accountability isn’t scolding or punishing you for not doing what you said you would do; it’s friendly, gentle, and supportive.

A safe space to think out loud with someone who won't judge you or give you unsolicited opinions about your choices is rarer than it should be. That's what I want our sessions to feel like. I want you to be excited for our time together.

Here's where I get a little different

I have years of coach training, years of herbalist training, and countless certificates in both. I bring all of that and lived experience to our sessions. Sometimes the most useful thing I can do is ask a coaching question that reframes everything. Other times, it's noticing that your nervous system might be part of the conversation too, and having a way to speak to that.

I'm not a medical practitioner and am not here to give you health advice or replace any care you're already receiving. I'm here to hold a bigger, more integrated version of the conversation and support you on your own personal journey. Seeing you as a whole person, not a set of separate problems waiting to be managed.

No two holistic coaching sessions look alike

And I mean that genuinely, not as a smarmy marketing pick-up line. You are not a template. You are a beautiful unique individual. Some sessions feel expansive and wandering in the best possible way. Some are focused and practical, and you leave with a very clear next step. Some plant a seed of something that takes a few weeks to make sense.

What stays consistent is the space itself. Honest, unhurried, and actually just for you.

A gift you give yourself

And I mean that in the most grounded, non-cheesy way I can. Not a spa day (not that those are bad). Not a reward for being productive enough to deserve it. A real, deliberate choice to make space for yourself in a world that is constantly asking you to make space for everything else first.

That's what holistic coaching is, to me. A container for the whole of you, including the parts that don't fit neatly anywhere else.

If any of this is resonating, come say hello. A free discovery call is a no-pressure place to start. We talk, we see if it feels like a fit, and we go from there.
